Painting, coatings, equipment installation... Despite the scorching summer heat, project construction is in full swing. Within Tongxiang Phoenix Lake Science and Technology City, the relocation and reconstruction of the Zhendong Logistics Park and the surrounding infrastructure supporting projects (logistics park) are accelerating, making a full sprint towards the goal of putting Area A into production by the end of the year.

By the Phoenix Lake, the "Tongxiang's tallest building" Zhenshi Plaza project has entered "transformation mode." On the main building's exterior facade, the modular glass curtain walls resemble transparent puzzle pieces, growing skyward at a pace of two floors every three days, currently reaching a height of 150 meters.

"The main building uses a keel-less design, and installing these 'glass armors' is a huge challenge," the project leader of Zhenshi Plaza told reporters. The 3,800 curtain wall glass panels must fit together like precise gears. Each piece, weighing over 800 jin (approximately 400 kg), needs to be accurately aligned with the reserved slots using custom lifting equipment, with an error margin not exceeding 1.5 centimeters. Alongside the main building's "growth," the project's commercial podium and a 4,800-square-meter column-free banquet hall are also progressing.

The emergence of the "tallest building" will effectively fill the gap in high-end business conference and leisure shopping venues in the headquarters economic zone. Today, headquarters such as Kaitong, Jiatong, and Zhongyi have all settled in the Phoenix Lake Headquarters Economic Zone. This area, with a total planned size of about 630 acres, has nurtured a batch of headquarters enterprises "based in Tongxiang with global operations." It is one of the most densely concentrated blocks of leading enterprises in Jiaxing City, with the highest market value density among listed companies. So far, it has gathered headquarters buildings of 15 leading enterprises including Tongkun, Zhenshi, Jushi, and Xinfengming, contributing over 3 billion yuan in annual tax revenue, accounting for 21% of Tongxiang City's local fiscal revenue.

Modern service industries beautify life and boost industries. In Tongxiang city, there is the only Wanxianghui complex in our province located in a county town. This commercial giant, covering about 100,000 square meters, gathers over 300 brands, with the "first store economy" thriving. Grandma Chunhua, wild fruits... Inside Wanxianghui, as new brand first stores settle in, waves of queues arise, attracting consumers from surrounding counties and districts to come and shop.

Policy support stimulates consumer enthusiasm. With the implementation of the "2025 Tongxiang City Plan to Vigorously Boost and Expand Consumption," driven by various consumption vouchers, many citizens have been visiting malls, supermarkets, and restaurants to eat, drink, and shop. Since the beginning of this year, Tongxiang has used nearly 200 million yuan for "trade-in" of consumer goods, driving consumption over 2 billion yuan; the "prize invoice" consumption voucher activity directly stimulated nearly 1 million yuan in consumption... In the first half of the year, Tongxiang achieved a total retail sales of social consumer goods of 29.188 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.9%, ranking second in Jiaxing in total volume and third in growth rate, with growth rates 4.2 and 4.6 percentage points higher than the city and province respectively.

"Since the beginning of this year, the service industry has played a more solid role as the main battlefield for economic and social development. The production-oriented service industry, represented by the headquarters economy, has achieved deep integration of production and trade, while the life-oriented service industry, represented by the first store economy, is upgrading towards high quality and diversification," said a relevant official from the Tongxiang Development and Reform Bureau. Going forward, efforts will continue to fully promote project implementation and effectiveness, continuously innovate consumption scenarios, improve consumption quality, and provide stronger and more solid support for the city's high-quality economic development.
