Zhenshi Group's Dongfang Special Steel Green High-end Nickel-Chromium New Material Intelligent Manufacturing Project Officially Starts Construction

On the morning of April 9, the launch ceremony for major projects in Zhejiang Province in the second quarter of 2025 officially commenced, with eight prefecture-level cities holding launch events for their respective major projects. Among them, Jiaxing's launch ceremony was held at the Zhenstone Group's Dongfang Special Steel Green High-end Nickel-Chromium New Material Intelligent Manufacturing Project.

At the launch ceremony, Zhang Yanyun, Vice Governor of Zhejiang Province, announced the commencement of the project. Chen Wei, Secretary of the Jiaxing Municipal Party Committee, presided over the ceremony, and Li Jun, Deputy Secretary of the Jiaxing Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, gave a report on the project's progress. Wang Zhongyi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Zhejiang Provincial Government; Gao Linghui, Chen Lizhong, and Shuai Xielang, leaders of Jiaxing City; Zhang Yuqiang, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zhenstone Holding Group; Zhang Jiancheng, Party Secretary and Chairman of Hangzhou Iron and Steel Group; Zhang Jiankan, President of Zhenstone Holding Group; and Wu Dongming, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of Hangzhou Iron and Steel Group, attended the event.

After the launch ceremony, Chairman Zhang Yuqiang inspected the planning of the project's main areas and docks, emphasizing the importance of winning the "expansion battle" for the project. He stressed the importance of aiming for intelligent equipment, green processes, and high-end products, seizing key construction nodes, and ensuring the smooth and timely commissioning of the new production line.

Projects are the "locomotive" driving economic growth, the "engine" of industrial upgrading, the "ballast" of resilient growth, and the "strong engine" of high-quality development. Against the backdrop of increasing downward pressure on the global economy and intensifying competition in the manufacturing industry, Zhenstone, based on its own characteristics and advantages, has comprehensively promoted the transformation of old and new kinetic energy, developing new productive forces in a way that suits local conditions. Through the cluster layout of major projects and the in-depth development of the entire industrial chain, it is accelerating the creation of a strategically emerging industrial cluster with international competitiveness in Jiaxing, with the Dongfang Special Steel Green High-end Nickel-Chromium New Material Intelligent Manufacturing Project being a typical example.

The Dongfang Special Steel Green High-end Nickel-Chromium New Material Intelligent Manufacturing Project is located in Nanhu District, Jiaxing City. The project focuses on the manufacturing of high-end stainless steel equipment materials, using advanced domestic and international smelting equipment and models. Upon completion, it will achieve the localization of alloy materials, contributing to the construction of an advanced manufacturing base in the province.

With the surging spring tide, it is the right time to strive forward.
